With both clients being in the hospitality industry the emphasis on entertainment, relaxation, materials and usability were emphasized. Truth to material was important to the house and so structure was exposed, walls were left bare alongside beautiful italian lighting pieces and spatially rooms were opened up to allow for a contemporary look and feel.

A dilapidated 4 bedroom home with issues of damp, mould, structure and the roof alongside beautiful original Edwardian tiles in the front entrance and coving in the front room meant the house had to be partly stripped back and protected in a various ways. Alongside the brief of using multiple textures arranged in an elegant way alongside existing protected features created a project full of tactility.
