She is concept-driven and likes to design in a bigger context to create enjoyable spaces to work, live and explore in. Mieke has been involved in the design and delivery of projects in the UK and Switzerland, including listed buildings and conservation areas. With experience in the housing, private residential and luxury residential sectors, as well as commercial projects such as office buildings, she's been an excellent addition to the team.
Mieke is an Architect (ARB) who joined the London Studio 8FOLD team in 2019. Mieke has a keen interest in sustainable architecture and the role it plays to create a greener future, especially alternative materials and their application. Furthermore, she believes that architecture can make a positive contribution to our society and find answers to existing and emerging problems in the built environment.
