Whilst at firms in London and Berlin, Martha was able to gain experience working on a range of projects, from small scale, sensitive conservation projects, to museums and listed buildings, as well as some fast-paced competitions. Martha is also a certified PassivHaus Designer and OpenHouse volunteer. Alongside her studies, Martha loves to draw, as well as swimming outdoors in the local lidos.
Martha has joined Studio8Fold whilst she completes her MArch degree at London Metropolitan University. Whilst studying for her undergraduate degree at the University of Bath, Martha developed a keen interest in the relationship between architecture and waste. She wants to explore how to make architecture that is responsive to prevalent societal issues, such as waste, that also narrates the cultural context of a place.
